CT Eats Out x Know Good Market: Skyscraper Sandwich Truck

It's baaaaaaack! The third season of the Know Good Market returns Thursday, April 12, 2018. The Know Good Market is an open air street festival held from 5-8pm on the second Thursday of each month from April-November in the Parkville neighborhood of Hartford that features local music, food and vendors and attracts a large crowd of locals and visitors alike. 

Each month, we at CT Eats Out sponsor a different food vendor for your tasting pleasure. This month we are pleased to present Skyscraper Sandwich Truck. Jay Sneideman opened the truck two years ago when he found a lack of "really big sandwiches" in the area. They've been pumping out Reubens (with pastrami or corned beef) and Rachels (with turkey), along with select specials ever since. They'll have their Reubens with grilled rye bread, Swiss cheese, truck dressing, and sauerkraut, their Rachel with turkey, Swiss cheese, truck dressing and house slaw on grilled rye bread, along with a portobello mushroom sandwich served on grilled ciabatta, with Swiss cheese, red cabbage slaw and truck dressing. 

So, who else will be there? Mercado will be attending with their Span-ish tapas,  CraftBird & Co. Food Truck (formerly Yardbird) serving fried chicken and farm fresh deliciousness, Let's Start From Scratch with her famous edible cookie dough, Chief Brody's will be slinging banh mi and noodle bowls, Bear's Smokehouse BBQ will have bbq, and then of course Hog River Brewing will be open and serving their Hartford made beer including the Know Good Pale Ale.

The Know Good Market is held from 5-8pm and located at 30-50 Bartholomew Ave. Hartford, CT. There is a parking lot located across the street, bike parking and is just one block from the CT Fastrak Parkville stop.
