While we love inundating your Instagram feeds with daily doses of food porn, we are firm believers that you should know the people behind your food as well as where it is coming from. Our 12 Days of Chef-mas series seeks to introduce you to the faces behind some of your favorite restaurants and brands. Follow along for the next 12 days as we help you get to know these talented humans a little better.

How you got started in the kitchen:

I grew up with a mother that always entertained, so I was used to good food and having the kitchen the center of the home. As far as MY start, I was 10. My mother put me in cake decorating classes.

Your favorite ingredient to work with:

Oh man. That's a loaded question. We're constantly created flavor combos and products. I honestly don't have one. It's all kind of my favorite. Maybe sugar...? ;)

Favorite item on your menu:

Our peanut butter cookies and coffee cake. They have been a constant pal for 5 years.

Favorite holiday dish to eat or cook:

My mothers Persian food on Christmas Day.

Restaurant in CT that you're dying to try:

Right now, probably Present Company. Although I'm connected to a lot CT chefs and every time I seem post, I ask myself why I haven't been. I'm kind of boring. I never go out these days. Haha

Funniest kitchen story:

That would take me years. All I can say is, on a daily basis, you'll see me and my girls bent over, almost peeing from laughing because of something someone said. We are definitely inappropriate but it's what keeps the kitchen fun and helps us get through stressful times.
