Lyman Orchards’ annual Strawberry Fest kicks off their summer event season, celebrating family fun, Lyman's fresh grown strawberries, and sweet strawberry treats from the Apple Barrel. FREE ADMISSION.

Fun activities include Breakfast on the Deck, Strawberry picking in the orchard, live music, complementary food tastings and demos, pie eating contests, face painting, pony rides, horse-drawn wagon rides, Henna art, and interactive activities for children throughout the day. Bruno Bros. will be making their delicious Kettle Corn throughout the event! Start the morning right with Breakfast on the Deck and Story Time & a craft with the children's library team from Levi E Coe Library!

Middlefield's own Presley & Taylor, who are already recognized as the next generation of country music will be back.

Hannah Sjostrom, the 2019 American Honey Queen, will visit us for Strawberry Fest. She will talk about the importance of honeybees to Connecticut agriculture and how honeybee pollination directly shapes our livelihood. She will also share information how honey’s beautiful spectrum provides endless possibilities and the many treats that honeybees provide.

You can sample Lyman’s BBQ sauces, fruit butters, salsas, baked goods and more throughout the day. Plus, they'll have some of their favorite partners on site as well to sample their best selling and most-loved products, including:
