Oh, the Negroni. The classic bitter Italian cocktail takes a playful turn at Jesup Hall with a scoop of orange sherbert acting as the ice. It's the perfect apertif: a sweet treat and a cocktail all in one.
Jesup Hall's Sherbert Negroni
Makes one cocktail
Ingredients
1 oz gin
1 oz Campari
1 oz house vermouth blend (see below) or regular vermouth
1 scoop orange sherbert
House Vermouth Blend
2 parts Carpano Antica
1 part Dolin Rouge
1 part Punt e Mes
Instructions
Pour gin, Campari and house vermouth blend into a chilled mixing glass.
Stir and strain over a scoop of orange sherbert in an Old Fashioned glass.
Serve with a spoon.
