Savor Litchfield is the culinary event of the year. Restaurants, specialty markets, bakeries, winemakers, distilleries, craft brewers, and others will fill the white barn and 90-acre property at the magical South Farms to serve their signature cuisine, desserts, sweets, and curated cocktails and beverages to foodies and fun-loving folk in the area. There will be upscale pop-up shops set up by local businesses, a rock band, kids zone, and roving entertainment.
The restaurant and spirits list is still growing but to date includes Market Place Kitchen & Bar, Community Table, Winvian Farm, John's Cafe, Milkhouse Chocolate, Litchfield Distillery, Bohemian Pizza, West Shore Seafood, Britsbrand, Asylum Distillery, Love Hearts Bakery & Cafe, The Bakehouse (Litchfield), Spring Hill Vineyards, Max Prime, White Horse Country Pub, Ciesco Catering, Owl's Brew, Liquid Chocolate & Company, Sunset Meadow, Dotties Provisions, New Morning Market, and Hopkins Vineyard.
They will be creating an array of delicious and diverse options for participants. Cuisine ranges from sustainable and seafood-focused to old-school Italian comfort food to Lebanese deserts. The event will also offer various wines, beers, and spirits to create the perfect ensemble—all available for one ticket price. Local businesses that will be on hand include: Byrde + the b, Lulu Face Co, Oliphant, Blueprint CT Home, and Shop Cathy B. A portion of the proceeds will benefit local area food banks. Sponsors include: Audi Danbury, Art Room Atelier, Winvian, William Pitt - Kristine Newell, and Litchfield Distillery.
Raffle items will be sold in support of the Morris Food Bank. Guests are invited to bring donations of canned tuna, beans, rice, condiments, peanut butter, jelly, pasta sauce, healthy cereal, olive oil, laundry and dish detergent.
Pre-purchased general admission is $50, which includes food, drink, and entertainment all afternoon. A VIP pass is $100 and provides food, drink, entertainment, private parking, and access to a lounge with TV and food service. Children 15 and under are $20.
