Summertime in Stamford, the streets are alive (especially Summer Street!) That’s why they’re opening the doors and serving up a giant Instagram-worthy paella party. Chef Michael Lucente is hosting Sunday Funday his way — with an afternoon paella grande, al fresco.
Chef will demonstrate how to create one of the signature dishes of Spain—Paella Mariscos. This one-pan meal consists of “bomba” rice, fragrant sauce, vegetables, and mariscos. Learn the perfect ratio of sofrito to saffron, how to achieve the caramelized “socarrat” on the bottom of the pan, and the reason for paella’s iconic status in Spanish cuisine.
To add to the feast, guests will have a choice of sipping on beer or housemade sangria.*
