Engine Room may be the sleeper hit for Mother's Day this year. It's casual, lively, and has all the unfussy comfort food you can dream of. Treat mom to a Rose Hip Rosé Mimosa, or the Mother of All Bloody Mary's (complete with a cocktail shrimp and prosciutto wrapped asparagus!) Brunch is from 10am - 2:30pm, with the regular menu from 2:30 - 10pm. The menu includes a salad of roasted beets, whipped ricotta, Stone Acres Farm greens, almonds and a sherry vinaigrette; house made yogurt and granola parfait with seasonal fruit; Farm to Hearth avocado toast with spicy tahini, almonds-sesame dukkah, radish, and Stone Acres Farm greens; lemon, thyme, and poppyseed cake with lemon curd and whipped cream; smoked salmon and spring onion quiche with creme fraiche and Stone Acres Farm greens; and shrimp & grits with slow roasted bacon, Davis Farm grits, Stonington red shrimp, and a poached egg.
