Meet author and recipe developer, Dorie Greenspan, on her book tour for her new book “Everyday Dorie: The Way I Cook.” It’s got more than 125 simple recipes – recipes that often have a little surprise worked into them, so that everyday food is more delicious, more comforting, more satisfying, more inviting and more fun. And it’s got such gorgeous pictures … lots of them.
It’s everyday food with verve. There’s smoked salmon in that gorgeous brunch tart on the cover – dill, capers and cream cheese, too. (Think bagels and lox without the bagels.) There are walnuts in the meatballs, Mediterranean spices in the shepherd’s pie and cranberries and lemon curd in my version of the beloved meringue dessert, Eton Mess. All unexpected. All designed to delight. Nothing hard about it.
The book comes out October 23, 2018 – it will be a Scorpio, like it’s mom.
