Join 15+ of Connecticut's most talented baristas as they throw down at Cafe Xpresso in Newtown on February 21, 2017. Talent from cafes such as NEAT, Source Coffee, The Granola Bar, New Morning Market, N2 Coffee, Dolce Cafe, Cafe Xpresso, as well as a few local latte art hobbyists will be participating in latte art and espresso drink competitions. 

Participants will be judged on creativity for the latte art, and balance, flavor and creativity for the espresso drink competition. Drinks will be judged by Ed Freedman of Shearwater Organic Coffee Roasters, our own founder Alycia Chrosniak, and Christina Hennessy of Hearst Media. Prizes for the winners will be provided by Willoughby's Coffee and Tea, and Saccuzzo Coffee Co.

The general public is welcome to attend and cheer on the baristas as they compete. Cafe Xpresso will be serving samples from their menu.
