Chief Brody's is doing their 2nd annual sock drive fundraiser benefiting the Columbus House charity for the homeless. Guest chef is Jason Sobocinski of Caseus and they are creating a crazy special banh mi themed after Chinatown pork dumplings. They are asking for people to bring a new pair of socks, which is the most needed item for homeless people approaching winter. The special banh mi is: Pork scallion dumpling patty / Kewpie Chevre / Pickled Veggies Cilantro / Wasabi Pea Crunch / Crispy Fried Shallots/ Schezuan Spicy Sticky BBQ Sauce.
You can find them from 11-2pm on Tuesday, October 25 on York St by Chapel. By bringing a new pair of socks you will be entered to win prizes from Chief Brody's, Caseus Ordinary and Black Hog Brewery!
