We sold out our first Supper Club last week which was a better response than we ever could have imagined, and are completely overwhelmed and thrilled. We hosted the soon to open Osa Restaurant, a product of Chef Matt Wick and restaurateurs Kevin Wirtes and Rich Garcia, in the West Hartford Art League's Clubhouse Gallery during their Emerging Artists Exhibit.
Guests were welcomed with a craft cocktail made with Litchfield Distillery Gin, cara cara juice, Aperol and prosecco (aptly named the 'We Don't Cara Cara') while they mingled in the gallery and viewed the art. Then Chef Matt and the team served nine family style courses paired with wines selected by Missing Link Wine Co.
If you missed the memo about this one, here's the lowdown on the rest: We'll be holding our Supper Clubs monthly in various unusual locations across the state with a different chef each time. Subscribers will have first access to tickets, and the general public will be able to buy any remaining tickets 48 hours later. You can subscribe to our list here. Dinners will vary in price depending on the theme but our goal is to keep them all under $70 as we'd like them to be approachable to all members of the community. Most dinners will be served family style as we believe the act of sharing is crucial to fostering relationships and bringing people together.
