Farm to Hearth, the wildly popular bakery based in Haddam, CT is launching a CSB with the assistance of Caseus in New Haven. Each CSB will cost $100 and you will receive eleven loaves of bread over a ten week period starting on May 5, 2016. There will be two types of bread available each week on a first come first serve basis, and your bread can be picked up Thursday's at Caseus between 11am-6pm.
Currently Todd Solek of Farm to Hearth only bakes bread for a select group of restaurants in the state, as well as selling at a few local farmers markets (where he is known to promptly sell out). So this opportunity to be guaranteed his bread weekly should not be missed. Solek currently mills his own grains for each bake and hand forges each individual loaf before placing them in a wood fired oven to bake.
