The Perfect New Years Eve Cocktail: The Tokyo 75
Make a Tokyo 75 Cocktail at your next party

The French 75 is the definition of a classic cocktail. While the traditional drink is made with gin, champagne, lemon juice and simple syrup, Bar Manager Craig Ventrice of Kawa Ni has given his a fun Japanese twist. The result is the 'Tokyo 75', with sparkling sake leading you into a perfect combination of spiced gin and citrus. So head over to Kawa Ni and have one shaken one up for you, or use their recipe below to make one at home.

The Tokyo 75


1 oz Opihr Gin
.5 oz Yuzu Juice
.25 oz Simple Syrup
1.5 oz Gekkeikan Zipang Sparkling Sake
Lemon twist


Pour the gin, yuzu juice and simple syrup into a cocktail shaker filled with ice
Shake until well chilled and strain into a glass
Top with sparkling sake and garnish with a lemon twist to serve
